Michael Whyte is a former Army officer from Colorado Springs. He came into the spotlight after he was arrested and charged with the 1987 murder of Darlene Krashoc.
Whyte was stationed at Fort Carson along with the deceased female soldier. On 17 March 1987, Darlene’s body was found behind a Korean restaurant, 6 miles from Colorado Springs.
Krashoc was on a night out with her friends. When she was returning, she was beaten, raped, strangled to death, and her body was dumped in an out-of-the-business location.
