Fact
1
In addition to being the original Tom Servo, he was also the original Gypsy. Jim Mallon took over the part when he left and Mallon was later replaced by Patrick Brantseg.
2
The fate of his MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000 (1988)) character, Dr. Laurence Erhardt, generally referred to as Dr. Larry, was never revealed. When Joel Robinson (Joel Hodgson) asked the new henchman, TV's Frank (Frank Conniff) where Larry was, Frank simply held up a milk carton with a picture of Larry captioned 'Have you seen this man?' and Frank answered "He's missing." Erhardt was mentioned only once more in the entire series (in a joking allusion to the similar appearance of a character in "Earth vs. the Spider").
3
Was the original Tom Servo on MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000 (1988)). Kevin Murphy replaced him at the beginning of the second season. His nerdy henchman character, Dr. Laurence Erhardt, was replaced by TV's Frank, played by Frank Conniff. He differentiated Dr. Laurence Erhardt and Tom Servo by using a squeaky, high pitched voice as Erhardt and a deep voice as Servo.
